Skalflex Paints

Skalcem 100

Skalcem 100 is a dyed, moisture-curing, cement-based powder paint. Skalcem 100 can be applied on to any mineral surface, such as LECA, gas concrete, concrete, plastered and limewashed walls, etc. Paint and lime must be removed prior to treatment with Skalcem 100. Skalcem 100 is weatherproof and washable and requires no follow-up treatment for many years. Skalcem 100 is water-repelling, but allows moisture from within to pass. Skalcem 100 is excellent for both outdoor and indoor purposes. For any follow-up treatment, the same product or Skalflex Silicate Paint should be used.

Skalflex Silicate paint

Skalflex Facade Silicate Paint is a natural mineral product. It is silicate (water glass) paint binder, which ensures a chemical reaction between the paint and any dry mineral surface, such as limewash, plaster, concrete, asbestos cement sheets, etc. This chemical reaction with the underlying surface forms an insoluble compound with the mineral surface, protecting the wall from acid rain and other air contamination. The paint is highly vapour permeable, ensuring healthy masonry that can breathe. With no organic solvents, Skalflex Facade Silicate Paint is a good choice for indoor purposes. At the same time, its alkaline surface creates a good indoor environment, as it inhibits the growth of bacteria and fungi.

Skalflex Siloxane Paint

Skalflex Siloxane Paint is an acrylic/silicate paint known for excellent covering power, flexibility as well as high water-repelling effect. Despite this water-repelling effect, the paint is characterized by its high vapour permeability. The paint offers unique adhesiveness and protection against carbonation of reinforced concrete. Skalflex Siloxane Paint can be used on both mineral and previously painted surfaces and can be applied by brush, roller or spray gun. Mineral and not completely cured surfaces should be primed with Multi-purpose Primer prior to treatment with Skalflex Siloxane Paint.

Facade Texture Paint

Facade Texture Paint is an acrylic/silicate-based paint that offers good adhesiveness. It can be used for outdoor and indoor purposes on mineral surfaces as well as on previously painted surfaces. Facade Texture is a so-called thick film coating, which means that it can cover minor cracks and crazings on the surface. Whether you use the fine or coarse Facade Texture, one layer of paint will usually be sufficient if you wish to change the colour. Skalflex Facade Texture allows the wall to breathe and contains no toxic solvents. Two types of paint are available: coarse and fine. Depending on the application method and choice of tools, the surface will have a different structure - limewash, rough plastering, granulated, etc. Use your imagination! Whether the surface has been painted previously does not matter.

Skalflex Base paint

Skalflex Base paint is an acrylic-based paint known for its excellent covering power and adhesiveness. This paint adheres to all mineral, plaster, concrete, gas concrete, LECA surfaces and more as well as on previously painted surfaces. Skalflex Base paint is highly water-repelling and weatherproof. It is noted for high durability and long useful life. Do not use on tar or asphalt. Available in three colours: light grey, charcoal grey and black.

Skalflex Coarse Paint

Skalflex Coarse Paint is an acrylic/silicate-based paint that offers good adhesiveness. The paint is primarily intended for outdoor use, but may also be used for indoor purposes. Coarse Paint can also be used on previously painted surfaces. Skalflex Coarse Paint is noted for its excellent adhesiveness on all types of masonry. At the same time, Skalflex Coarse Paint is water-repelling and characterized by its incredibly high flexibility. These properties make Coarse Paint excellent for treatment of crazed masonry. Skalflex Coarse Paint is vapour permeable and contains no toxic solvents.
