Beto-Lime Binder is a multi-purpose concrete adhesive that provides a greater level of adherence to surfaces, a greater impact strength and greater elasticity (toughness) to the applied matter. This means that even a very thin layer can aid good adherence to plaster and concrete.

Application areas

Can be used profitably as a binding agent for concrete and mortar, e.g. when laying wearing course, new slopes, repairs of all damages and peeling on concrete, straightening of steps etc. - can also be used to attain wear-resistant and dust-free floor coverings, as a primer for cement based paints and for mixing with whitewash.

Trowelled finish using Skalcem S 2000 - CF 2000 on smooth concrete and on Skaltherm Base Plaster:

Substitute 2 litres of the water with 2 litres Beto-Lime Binder per 25 kg finishing plaster.

Painting with Skalcem 100:

On surfaces with an uneven level of absorption, we recommend that you prime using diluted Beto-Lime Binder (1 part binder to 3 parts water) before treating with Skalcem 100. Do not let the primer dry out before applying Skalcem 100.

Painting with Skalcem 100 on smooth concrete:
Substitute 1 litre of the water with 1 litre Beto-Lime Binder per 10 kg Skalcem 100.

Whitewashing:

Add 1-2 litres Beto-Lime Binder per 10-litre whitewash. This will prolong its lifetime significantly.
