Skalcem Reinforcing Plaster

Application:

Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER is excellent for all types of masonry repairs where flaking and cracking have occurred.
Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER is characterised by high volume and excellent adhesive properties even on difficult surfaces, such as metal, latex paint and tiles.

The product has many uses, such as adhesive plaster for Skalcem REINFORCING STEEL in cracked walls, for securing small cracks with Skalcem REINFORCING MESH, plaster repairs, flaking on houses painted with latex paint, jointing doors and windows, filling open joints, repairing flaking on basement walls.

Mixing:

Stir up Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER in water. To reach a working consistency to insert Skalcem REINFORCING STEEL, use 3.2 litres of water per 20 kg Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER. Adjust the amount of water to suit the particular task and layer thickness.
Mix using a high-speed mixer.

Instructions:

Use ordinary bricklayer tools to apply plaster. When smoothing the plaster, we recommend using a damp sponge. For higher volume in layer thickness, add 10-25% dry quartz sand 0.4-0.8 mm. Wet surface first for best possible curing.

Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER should not be used at temperatures below 5 °C or when there is a chance of temperatures below 0 °C at night.

Skalcem REINFORCING PLASTER must be stored in a dry place.
