Skalflex Siloxane Paint

Properties

Skalflex Siloxane Paint is an acrylic/siloxane paint, characterised by its great coverage, flexibility as well its ability to repel water. Despite this ability, the product is also known to be very open to diffusion.

A unique adherence is achieved using this paint and furthermore, this paint manages to protect against carbonates being produced within reinforced concrete.

Skalflex Siloxane Paint can be applied to mineral as well as previously painted surfaces using a paintbrush, roller or spray. Mineral and loose surfaces must be primed using Water-reflex before treating with Skalflex Siloxane Paint. Previously painted surfaces must be cleaned first to remove dirt and dust before being treated.

Primer

Multi-purpose Primer is wall waterproofing agent and primer based on turpentine. Apply using a paintbrush, roller or spray. Multi-purpose Primer is very open to diffusion and characterised by its high level of penetration.

New surfaces must be completely hardened and dry before priming with Multi-purpose Primer. Old surfaces must be dry, which is why there must be no residual water from high pressure cleaning.

The primary colour is white and this can be toned to any of our own 108 different Skalflex Silicate colours.
